Derryn Hinch in the 60's
From there to here. Derryn Hinch was one of the few Australians to personally witness, and
radio broadcast to Australian listeners, the launch of Apollo 11 from the
press site at the Kennedy Space Center back in 1969. This CD is the live
radio recording of that historic broadcast, with additional commentary on
his reflections of that experience 40 years later.
This is a very moving and historic record of that historic mission of
Apollo 11, with a unique Australian angle, on the voyage that started with the liftoff of Apollo 11 from Cape Kennedy, Florida, on July 16, 1969.
